Disclaimer

Important Notice

This disclaimer applies to your use of our website, your application, and your participation in any Solace Egypt programme. It is intended to clarify our role as a facilitator and set expectations around responsibility, risk, and liability.

1. Our Role

Solace Egypt provides educational coordination, accommodation coordination, logistics support, and cultural facilitation services for students studying Arabic and Qur’an in Egypt. We are not a travel agent, medical provider, insurer, security service, emergency response service, or legal authority.

Where we introduce or arrange services from third parties (for example accommodation providers, transport providers, teachers, venues, or excursion operators), those services are provided by independent third parties. We do not own, operate, or control those third parties, and we do not guarantee their actions, omissions, availability, or quality.

2. Personal Responsibility and Risk

Travel and study abroad involves inherent risks. These may include (without limitation) travel disruptions, illness, injury, accidents, theft, crime, local transport incidents, changes in local conditions, and acts or omissions of third parties. By applying to or participating in a programme, you confirm that you understand and voluntarily accept these risks.

You are responsible for taking reasonable precautions to protect your health, safety, and belongings. You should research destination guidance, follow local laws and customs, and comply with any programme safety instructions.

3. Medical, Insurance, and Emergencies

You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to travel and participate in the programme. You must obtain and maintain appropriate travel and medical insurance for the full duration of your stay, including cover for emergency medical treatment, repatriation, and personal property.

Solace Egypt does not provide medical advice, medical insurance, or clinical care. If you become unwell or injured, we may assist with practical support where reasonably possible (for example helping you locate a clinic), but we do not accept financial or legal responsibility for treatment decisions, costs, outcomes, or delays.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solace Egypt, its founders, team members, volunteers, partners, and affiliates will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, claim, or expense arising from or in connection with your travel, stay, or participation in a programme. This includes (without limitation) personal injury, illness, disability, death, loss or damage to personal property, delays, cancellations, or changes to services.

Nothing in this disclaimer limits or excludes liability where it cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation).

5. Third‑Party Services

Accommodation, classes, transport, excursions, and other services may be delivered by third parties. Any complaints or disputes relating to third‑party services should be raised with the relevant provider. Where appropriate, we may help you communicate with the provider, but the contract for those services (if any) is between you and the provider.

6. No Legal, Financial, or Immigration Advice

Information we provide (including on our website, by email, or via WhatsApp) is general guidance only and does not constitute legal, financial, or immigration advice. You are responsible for checking requirements that apply to you, including passport and visa requirements, entry rules, and local regulations.

7. Governing Law

This disclaimer is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
